Our Orthopedic Surgery Department has been ranked in Newsweek magazine's "Best Specialized Hospitals Asia‑Pacific 2026."
In the annual "Best Specialized Hospitals Asia-Pacific 2026" ranking published by the international news weekly magazine Newsweek, our hospital's Orthopedic Surgery Department was ranked 50th in the Asia-Pacific region and 7th in Japan. Among national university hospitals, we ranked 4th, following the University of Tokyo Hospital, Osaka University Hospital, and Kyoto University Hospital. Furthermore, we are the only hospital in the Shikoku region to be included in this ranking.
This ranking comprehensively evaluates online surveys of medical professionals, various accreditation/certification systems, and the implementation status of PROMs (Patient-Reported Outcome Measures). Our Orthopedic Surgery Department received high praise, securing a spot within the top 75 in the Asia-Pacific region.
Taking this achievement as an opportunity, we will continue to strive to provide "world-class, highest-standard treatment" and meet the trust of the citizens of our prefecture.
