A seminar on ISO 9001 was held in 2022
Tokushima University Hospital has earned ISO 9001 certification for its efforts to ensure the quality of medical care and to maintain and improve patient satisfaction.
In order to inform people of the purpose and significance of ISO 9001, a seminar on ISO 9001 is held at the Hospital each year.
On August 5 of this year, Ms. Toyoko Nakahara of the Japan Management Association’s Quality Assurance Registration Center – the organization that certifies Tokushima University Hospital – delivered a 1-hour online lecture entitled, “The effects of earning ISO 9001 certification: Case studies from other hospitals/industries.”
The seminar had 92 attendees, including Hospital Director Kagami and physicians, dentists, nurses, and other medical personnel, and the attendees listened intently to Ms. Nakahara’s lecture.
