[Torrential rains in Kumamoto Prefecture] The disaster medical assistance team (DMAT) has returned safely
In response to a request from the prefecture, a disaster medical assistance team (DMAT; 1 physician, 2 nurses, 1 pharmacist, and 1 biomedical technician) was sent to Kumamoto on July 10th. The team finished providing medical assistance at shelters in City of Hitoyoshi, Kuma County, Kumamoto Prefecture and it returned safely on July 13th. The team was congratulated by Director Kagami upon its return.
