Acceptance of medical trainees from Mongolia

Tokushima University Hospital has accepted 16 medical trainees from the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences. The training sessions on hospital management, nursing care, emergency medical care and physical distribution management systems are held from June 26th to July 8th.In addition to the training sessions at Tokushima University Hospital, the trainees are visiting the Tokushima Prefectural Central Hospital and Ehime University Hospital. From July 1st, the trainees are being divided into two groups and one of the groups will be taking training sessions on infection control and medical information.Tokushima University, Ehime University and System Science Consultants Inc. jointly signed a three party agreement JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) for the Project for the Establishment of Hospital Management and Medical Services at the Mongolia-Japan Teaching Hospital. Tokushima University has been supporting the consolidation of the first university-affiliated hospital in Mongolia now under construction in Ulaanbaatar.
